NOTES CLIENT INSTALLATION AND UPGRADE
Notes installation directories for Linux
On a Linux® system, default directories for IBM® Lotus® Notes® install and upgrade are as below:
/opt/ibm/lotus/notes -- Notes product and binary files installation directory
/root/lotus/notes/data -- Notes data files installation directory
/root/lotus/notes/data/workspace -- Notes workspace directory
/opt/ibm/lotus/notes/framework -- Notes Java code installation directory
/etc/lotus/notes/data -- Shared data directory
/{$HOME}/lotus/notes/data -- Notes data files directory for each user
The following data and workspace directories are only used during Notes install and upgrade. Notes cannot be run as the root user, so these directories are not used at runtime. The install and provisioning log files are located in this workspace directory.
/root/lotus/notes/data -- Notes data files installation directory
/root/lotus/notes/data/workspace -- Notes workspace directory
