MONITORING

Setting, modifying or deleting the Java server controller user's ID properties
Use this dialog box to set, modify or delete the user ID and Internet password used to access the Java™ controller. The ID properties for the server controller are stored in the server's ID file.

The Java console command must be sent to a remote server and that server must be running within a Java console. You need Administrator access to that server for authentication purposes. Set the Administrator access in the Administrators field on the Security tab of the Server document.

When an event handler of notification type "Send Java Controller command" that you created or edited runs, the event task uses your short name and Internet password to access the Java controller. When that access is established, the event task sends the Java controller command.
