Modifying whether the Domino server is installed as a service or an application
You can change whether the Domino server is installed as a service or an application any time after the install process.

Resetting the server to run as a service instead of an application

If you have chosen to always run the Domino server as an application, complete these steps to reset the server to run as a service:

1. Go to the Microsoft Windows service manager, and locate the Lotus Domino Server in the list of services.

2. Change the Startup Type option for the Lotus Domino Server from Manual to Automatic.

3. Click Apply, and then click OK.

Resetting the server to run as an application instead of a service

If you have chosen to always run the Domino server as a service, complete these steps to reset the server to run as an application.

1. Go to the Microsoft Windows service manager, and locate the Lotus Domino Server in the list of services.

2. Change the Startup Type option for the Lotus Domino Server from Automatic to Manual.

3. Click Apply, and then click OK.
