Creating an activities policy settings document
Create an activities policy settings document to define a user's activities server and assigned port, and whether the user names, passwords, and activities data are to be encrypted with SSL.

Activities policy settings are not supported by IBM® Lotus® Domino® Web Access.

1. Make sure that you have Editor access to the IBM® Lotus® Domino® Directory and one of these roles:

2. From the Domino Administrator, select the People & Groups tab, and then open the Settings view.

3. Click "Add Settings," and then choose Activities Settings.

4. On the Basics tab, enter the name and description of the activities policy settings document you are creating.

5. In the Activities Options section, complete these fields, and then click Save and Close.

Activities server URLSpecify the DNS name of the activities server.
Activities server portSpecify the port number with which to access the activities server.
SSL encrypt username and passwordClick Yes to send the username and password over SSL to the activities server.
SSL encrypt all Activities dataClick Yes to send all data over SSL to the activities server, and then to return all data over SSL from the activities server.
