LOTUS INOTES

Adding a disclaimer to outgoing messages
You can add a disclaimer to outgoing IBM® Lotus® iNotes™ messages. A disclaimer is a denial or a disavowal of legal responsibility for the contents of the message. In some countries, not having a proper disclaimer on messages may result in fines leveled by regulatory agencies.

You can set up e-mail disclaimers by using either the mail server's Configuration Settings document or a Mail policy settings document. If you already have disclaimer configuration settings specified, then applying Mail policy settings will override the server configuration settings.

To add a disclaimer to an e-mail message, using one of these methods.
