Copying a DB2 enabled Notes database to another DB2 enabled Domino server
You can copy an IBM® DB2 Universal Database™ Enterprise Server Edition enabled IBM® Lotus® Notes® database from one DB2 enabled IBM® Lotus® Domino® server to another DB2 enabled Domino server. To do so, you must create a local copy of the database from the DB2 enabled Domino server and then use the menu options File - Application - New Copy to copy the database.

Creating a local copy of the database

Copying a local copy of a database to a DB2 enabled Domino server

1. From the IBM Lotus Notes client, open the database you are going to copy.

2. Choose File - Application - New Copy.

3. Next to Server, click the arrow to display a list of servers. Select the DB2 enabled Domino server on which you want to place the copy.

4. Next to Title, enter a title for the database. The database icon and the Open Application dialog box display this title.

5. Next to File Name, enter the path and file name of the database.
