Viewing correlated events in DDM
A problem can generate multiple events. For example, when a target server becomes unavailable, the router, replicator, and other components may each generate errors. DDM correlates these events and reports them as one error. In keeping with this example, multiple errors are reported as one error -- "Server not responding."

Event documents in the DDM database are correlated, that is, grouped into similar categories whenever possible. You can view correlated events by clicking the Correlated Events tab in the Probe document for any event that is correlated. Those events that do not have related events are not correlated and the Correlated Events tab does not display.

Events are correlated across servers by opening the DDM database on the collection servers, and then correlating the events.
