TROUBLESHOOTING

Domino does not connect to its DB2 database or has difficulty connecting
If IBM® Lotus® Domino® and IBM® DB2 Universal Database™ Enterprise Server Edition are part of a local configuration on Microsoft® Windows®, and Domino has problems connecting to its DB2 database, or exhibits unusual behavior when attempting to connect, use the "net user" command to check the status of the ID that Domino is using while attempting to connect to DB2. At the DOS prompt, enter this command:
You can also check the file, DB2DIAG.LOG, in the instance in which DB2 is installed. By default, DB2 is installed in c:\Program Files\IBM\SQLLIB, and the default instance name is DB2. If you used all of the defaults, check this path: c:\Program Files\IBM\SQLLIB\DB2\db2diag.log.

If DB2 is remote but is installed on a computer running Microsoft Windows, enter the "net user" command on the computer on which DB2 is installed.
