Password or account problem with DB2 account used by Domino to communicate with DB2
If the user account that the IBM® Lotus® Domino® server uses to authenticate with IBM® DB2 Universal Database™ Enterprise Server Edition on Microsoft® Windows® is disabled, or the password expires, the Domino server starts but is not able to connect to the DB2 database.

Resolving the problem

Complete these step to resolve the account or password problem:

1. Restart the Domino server.

2. Re-enable the account or change the password. From the Domino Administrator client, use the Edit DB2 Login feature. You are modifying the name and password that you entered in the DB2 server enablement tool.
